Breakfast Bento by hayleywarner Breakfast Bento by hayleywarner
I woke up late this morning, and fancied making a bento for breakfast since it's my day off anyway. By the time I finnished making it it was around lunch time anyway.

It consisted off, mini pitta's stuffed with roast chicken and salad, egg fried noodles, mini scotch eggs, chopped spring onion, red and green grapes. It was really yummy.

Bento Club has permission to use this picture in there gallery.

Thank you ^_^.

For the noodles I bought sharwoods dry egg noodles.

Boil them up in boiling water for a good eight minutes, the packet lies it says four, but they take ages really. Then drain them off, using a sieve/cieve I dunno how you spell it.

Then get a frying pan and some corn oil. Put a a table spoon in of the corn oil, then heat the pan up on the highest heat. Through the noodles in a cook the living daylights out of them for five or so minutes. Put in a good dollop of dark soy sauce in as well, a couple of teaspoons if you want an exact measurement should do it.

Line a compartment of you bento box with salad spinach leaves. The dice up one spring onion for garnishing. Put the noodles ontop of the leaves, then the spring onion on top of the noodles and your done. =P

Has a think. Most noodles are made out of egg, however I get what you mean finding decent proper ones rather then the cheapo ones isnt easy. If you have a supermarket though there should be something like plain noodles for stirfrys there, they'd probably do.
